Acts 29

Acts 29 is for young adults who have aged out of Youth but who aren’t yet ready for the Senior Men’s and Women’s groups. We welcome all 20-40ish people who are looking to strengthen and encourage each other while navigating the busy day to day. We meet once a month.

Many of us are raising children and balancing full-time jobs and careers. We recognize how fast paced and jam packed our schedules are, but we wanted a place within the church where we could further grow in friendships, faith, while also having fun.

Our name Acts 29 is simple. The book of Acts emboldens us to walk more closely with God so that we may make Christ’s name known with the passion and devotion of the apostles. If you open your Bible to read Acts: 29, you’ll only find 28 chapters. We are the next chapter!

So far, we’ve paddled around Lake Pinnacle at Table Rock State Park. Rented a Picnic shelter and held a pretty competitive corn hole tournament. We’ve had a game night in the church fellowship hall, went to dinner and a baseball game and most recently a s’mores night around the campfire enjoying each other’s company.

We’re hoping to work with the outreach and ministry teams to grow our group and do some great things here in the community.
