Dacusville United Methodist church was once again honored to be a sponsor of the community Christmas parade.

We chose the theme “Polar Express” for our float.

On Friday helpers came together at the church to transform a utility trailer into a train passenger coach.

On Saturday we had ten adults, youth and children riding in the float which was pulled by Pastor Brian and First Lady Carla in the perfect black diesel…well…truck.

Tons of candy was tossed out to the spectators along the route and we returned to the church for hot chocolate and s’mores which everyone was invited to come over for. We ended the evening by watching the move “The Star” together.
